How does light intensity affect our mood? How does it change our perception of space? How does the tone and colour of light affect us psychologically? We will address all these questions and more as we set about building our own light sculpture in response to the 2013 Hayward Gallery exhibition called "Light Show". We will collaborate and create an art piece that will redefine the space and trigger a sensory feast for the viewer. This workshop will look to artists like Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, Thomas Heatherwick and Olafur Eliasson for ideas and inspiration. Let there be light and a whole lot of fun!
