An exciting new venture for the Conservatoire, Take Note is our contemporary music choir and focuses on choral repertoire from musicals to jazz and Gilbert & Sullivan to pop, with a host of other genres in between.

Although an ability to read music is desirable, it's not essential as music is taught in a variety of ways. Take Note offers singers the chance to discover a huge range of choral music with like-minded people, and rehearsals also cover technical vocal issues.
