Schools Out For Summer

Wednesday 17th April, 9.30am - 3.30pm, ages 8-14, £50

For generations album art has been an essential part of listening to music. The media may have changed from vinyl to digital, but the imagery created to represent our favourite bands’ music has continued to be a vital and vibrant element of pop culture. In this course we will be inspired by the most iconic album art ever, some of which has become more famous and recognisable than the music it symbolises! We will create albums covers of ur own favourite music in a variety of mediums exploring how to translate the music we love into iconic album art! We will play music during the class to inspire us, we’ll be playing a mix, from Alice Cooper to The Beatles, whilst we look at album covers. Please feel free to bring your favourite music on a CD to share!
