The Fanfare programme has been designed as an ideal follow on to our Roundabout course. While children continue to learn in small groups (up to a maximum of six children per group), Fanfare enables them to concentrate on one instrument - their preferred instrument. The aim of the Fanfare programme is to build on the brief introduction provided to the instrument by Roundabout, giving a solid technical foundation to enable each child to go on to enjoy what we hope will be a lifelong interest in music making.

The Fanfare programme is split into two categories, the Year Long programme for orchestral instruments: Violin, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone and Trumpet. Children studying any of these instruments will participate in a band session at the end of each term to provide them with a taste of the experience of playing in an ensemble setting. The other Fanfare programme is the Termly programme for Guitar, Keyboard and Percussion; there is no final band session for these instruments and enrolment is done on a term by term basis with no need to commit for the whole year.

Fees

Yearly Enrolment: £306 + £15 one off registration fee (as with Roundabout you can chose to be invoiced termly or pay by standing order equal to 9 monthly payments of £34 with the £15 one off registration fee paid as a deposit). Please note that fees will be invoiced, do not send any payment with your application.

Termly Enrolment: £102 (this can be paid in full at the time of enrolment or in 2 or 3 instalments). Please ensure that you return payment with your application formspeak
to the office if you wish to pay in instalments.

Enrolments for Guitar, Keyboard and Percussion are on a termly basis. Applications should be made on the Fanfare application form (please indicate clearly which instrument your child would like to study), see the list below for details of days and times of classes.

Yearly Enrolment

Enrolments for Violin, Cello, Flute, Alto Saxophone, Clarinet and Trumpet are on a yearly basis (equal to three full terms). Applications should be made on the Fanfare application form (please indicate clearly which instrument your child would like to study). Days and
times for yearly enrolment Fanfare classes will be arranged according to demand for places. Please use the chart provided on the form to indicate your availability (although every effort will be made to arrange a convenient day and time, it is not possible to guarantee the exact day and time requested).
