Extreme Climates (Art, 5-11 yrs)

Tuesday 22nd October, 9.15am - 3.45pm (£50)

In this workshop we will travel the globe visiting the most extreme climates on earth. From the dry deserts of Chile, the wet monsoons of India, the extreme cold of Alaska to the searing heat of Death Valley. Find out about the animals and people who live there and how they survive. Along the way we will capture our journey in oil and chalk pastels. Learn how to use these wonderful colourful mediums, paint with oil pastels, layer and blend colours and use your imagination to go on a trip full of colour. Be inspired by artists who capture the harshest landscapes in colour. Pack your bag carefully! You need to be ready for extreme weather changes, and you’ll never complain about a wet, windy Blackheath day again!
