Mary Seers is a longstanding singing tutor at the Conservatoire, bringing her many years of experience as a performer to her teaching. Although a Baroque specialist, having sung all over the world with ensembles including The Sixteen, The Monteverdi Choir, and the Hilliard Ensemble, she enjoys working with students on repertoire from different eras and styles.
Mary was a Choral Exhibitioner at Girton College, Cambridge, while reading Social Anthropology. The hours she spent singing instead of writing essays proved more useful in her future career. If you’ve always wanted to sing, give it a go!
