'Beginning my early years work as an assistant at The Conservatoire in Blackheath, I was fortunate to be able to learn from an expert team and have the opportunity to share in music-making with them and the children. As my skills developed, my enjoyment of the work grew and I now take my own classes as tutor. I feel honoured to play a part in children’s first experiences of making music and I recognise the great responsibility that I carry in that capacity. I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue to develop my practice with Sound Connections as a London Early Years Music Network Apprentice and look forward to all that I can learn from it. Currently studying violin at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, I continually seek opportunities to build a diverse experience of music in education and community settings. I passionately believe that music can enrich our lives with empathy for one another and for the world we live in.'
