Smart Phone Film Making At Home (Drama, 8-14 yrs)

Monday 12th April, 9.30 - 15.30 (£50)

Making films can give you the chance to develop your storytelling skills, to visualise your ideas and make something that you can be really proud to show others. This one-day workshop offers children the chance to understand the key principles of dramatic storytelling, how to use objects and toys from around the home to turn these into short films, and how to use a simple smartphone editing app to turn their work into a movie that can be shared with everyone. Our filmmakers will assist in helping develop ideas and stories, and the technical know-how to capture these on camera and edit them into a short film. This workshop is ideal for arts and children with keen imaginations, plus an introduction to shooting and editing techniques in filmmaking.
