London based Anna Ter Haar enjoys a busy freelance career as a flautist, music-therapist and teacher. As a soloist Anna has performed concerti with numerous orchestras including those by Ibert, McNeff, Poulenc (arr. Berkeley), Bach and Haydn. Anna has performed with the BBC Concert Orchestra, the National Concert Orchestra of Great Britain and Southern-Pro Musica amongst other freelance orchestras. She has recorded for BBC radio 2 and 3 and has performed as a soloist live on radio 4. She has participated in orchestral tours across much of Europe and has performed a recital, with wind trio, at the Tokyo Opera House, Japan. Anna is a passionate chamber musician; performing regularly in venues across the UK including Southbank Centre’s Purcell Room as well as outreach projects at Wigmore Hall. Anna graduated from TrinityLaban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with a Masters and First Class Honours degree in 2012, and qualified as a music therapist from the University of Roehampton in 2017.
