Job Vacancy - Facilities Manager

The Blackheath Conservatoire is looking to appoint a dynamic, experienced Facilities Manager to manage the efficient running and maintenance of the Conservatoire buildings and estate. The Facilities Manager will work closely with the Operations Director, manage the Premises Stewards, and other members of the Conservatoire team to ensure the site provides a welcoming, safe, and statutorily compliant environment for all learners, 

The role is varied, with activities ranging from planning and delivering a programme of maintenance, maintenance operations – including maintenance issues when they arise. Your ability to anticipate operational issues that have the potential to affect the efficient running of the Conservatoire’s operations is, therefore, important. The Facilities Manager also acts as the Conservatoire’s Health and Safety Officer and so building-related health and safety, including compliance monitoring, fire safety, and emergency evacuations will be part of your brief.
