Billy Pod

Award winning drummer/musician/composer Billy Pod has been one of the prominent drummers of his generation in an international level. In 2019 he was listed in the top 10 new drummers by French “Batterie” magazine. In his 14 years of professional career, he has performed in festivals and venues around the world from New York (Tribecca Performing Arts Centre) to Taiwan (Taichung Jazz festival 2016) and collaborated with highly acclaimed artists like grammy-winner Tivon Pennicott, British Jazz Legend Jim Mullen, BBC award winner Gilad Atzmon, New York singer Jd Walter and many more. He has a long list of recordings with more than 30 album including his debut album as a leader/composer entitled “Drums to heal society”. At the same time he is a visiting lecturer at the Music Department of Ionian University, in Corfu - Greece and an experienced tutor with more than 12 years of experience.
