Carla Jourdan

Carla is a pianist and singer from Paris. She has been teaching over the last 10 years and has joined the conservatoire a year ago.

Carla is originally classically trained in piano and studied since young age at the conservatoire in Paris for over 10 years before she moved to London to learn jazz and contemporary music. 

In 2018 she graduated from the London Centre of Contemporary Music (LCCM) university and obtained a music degree in Bmus performance and production.

Carla has a strong interest in Jazz, Soul and R’n’b. Outside of teaching she is a session pianist and keyboard player. She has recently played for a BBC introducing festival and has been working with multiple established and signed artists across London. 

Since living in London Carla has been busy gigging both as a pianist and a vocalist. In 2016 she has been part of a gospel choir performing on the “Sister act live show” and went touring across the UK. Carla also works as a songwriter and producer.
