Pianist and tutor Cathal Herron joins us with his trio to play jazz standards and favourites, with Oli Fitzgerald on bass and Ethan Sweeting on drums.

Will Morgan is a guitarist and composer from London who writes and performs fingerstyle guitar for steel string acoustic as well as classical guitar music on nylon string. He records and releases music under the name Will Moore on Spotify where he has built a steady following and accrued over 20m streams. His performances and pieces draw on a wide range of influences so expect to be lulled to sleep by lullaby style compositions then shaken awake by percussive fingerstyle techniques seconds later.

World-class pianist and tutor Phillip Leslie will be performing including, Ballade No. 1 in G minor Op. 23, Nocturne Op. 48 No.1 C minor and Op. 22. Phillip is known for hiscaptivating playing and diverse programming. Praised for his sense of “culture and refinement” (Liszt Society) and described as “a real artist” by the Keyboard Charitable Trust, he is fast becoming one of UK’s leading young artists.
Since making his Southbank Centre debut in 2019, he has performed across the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden & France.

Jo Girdlestone is a Greenwich-based singer-songwriter with a background in theatre making as a performer, youth theatre leader, director and writer. Her lifelong love of stories tends to find it’s way into her songs. She’s been featured on BBC Radio Kent Folk and regularly performances across South London's live music scene. Jo released her debut album Somewhere Before in 2021 on the Global Fusion record label, followed by three EPs: Deep Water (2022), Circle the Sun (2024), and Pushing Back the Shadows (2025).

Jo is joined by Scottish songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Malcolm MacWatt, a unique voice in British Folk/Americana. Hailing from Morayshire with the Highlands and the North Sea as a constant backdrop, Malcolm was raised listening to the folk lore and music of Scotland.

No less than three of our tutors - Ivan Illingworth, Paris Rizas Pintzopoulos and Virág Hevizi - will be performing with The Holtág Quartet; a dynamic string quartet with a repertoire spanning classical and contemporary works, from Haydn, Beethoven, and Ravel, to Crumb, Maconchy, and Glass. Shortly after their formation, the quartet was selected to pilot the Ensemble Pathways course at Trinity Laban under a full scholarship provided by Philip Carne MBE – a specialist chamber music diploma.

They have performed at notable venues including Wigmore Hall, Queen’s House (Royal Museums Greenwich), the Painted Hall, and for the Hungarian Consulate in Manchester, and appear regularly across London. Upcoming engagements include performances at the Lighthouse in Poole, the Polish Hearth, and the University Women’s Club. Within their first year, the Holtág Quartet were finalists in the 2025 Cavatina Intercollegiate Competition, recipients of the Sir John Barbirolli Prize for String Quartets at Trinity Laban, and made their debut on BBC Radio 3 In Tune. The quartet has received coaching from Malcolm Johnston of the LSO, the Carducci and Piatti Quartets, and the Linos Piano Trio.

With a little helping hand from the wonderful musicians - Mairéad Sheerin will be narrating and singing with Klio Blonz on the flute and Grace Mo on piano - classic tales come to life. Featuring the music of classic composers such as Debussy, Mozart, Satie, Haydn, Handel, Ravel and many more, come along and join the merry Christmas tales and curious and magical musical adventures.

Aimed at school-aged children but little ones are very welcome.
