Experienced Singing and Piano Tutor (mixed timetable) required for weekly one-to-one lessons on Sundays starting 01 March 2026.
The current timetable runs from 09:30 - 16:00 with a 60 min break at 12:30. It currently comprises child and adult learners, beginners to Grade 4, some of whome are preparing for Rock School or Trinity exams. This timetable may change.
Pay
The pay is £30p/h on a freelance basis.
Term Dates
The Conservatoire teaches in line with local state school terms as follows:
Spring 26 Term: 5th January - 29th March
Summer 26 Term: 13th April - 20th July

About Roundabout
Roundabout is a programme for complete beginner children aged 5-7. Learning in small groups of 6, learners spend 6 weeks with each instrument (including guitar) across a year of weekly classes.

10:00 - 10:45 Roundabout Guitar
11:00 - 11:45 Roundabout Guitar
There is a gentle curriculum to follow and full training is given.
Pay
£34 p/h on a freelance basis. Roundabout classes are paid for the full hour for each 45 minute class to allow tutors to be ready to teach.

The Conservatoire teaches in line with local state school terms, however Roundabout terms are as follows:
Autumn 26: 14th September – 13th December
Spring 27: 4th January – 25 March
Summer 27: 12th April - 19th July

Details:
3 ukulele classes with no more than 6 children per group as follows:
12:45 - 13:15 Ukulele (4-5yrs) Some Experience
13:30 - 14:00 Ukulele (4-5yrs) Absolute Beginner
14:15 - 14:45 Ukulele (4-5yrs) Absolute Beginner
We can supply lesson plans and songs/pieces but we also welcome new ideas and material for these classes.
