Introduction To Animation: Let’s Make A Moving Picture! (6-12 yrs)
Monday 27th October, 09.30 - 16.30 (£78)
This workshop is designed to introduce the concepts of animation and sequencing images. We will look at some experimental films of the 1920s, from the Dada and Bauhaus movements, where colours and shapes dance around on the screen. Everyone’s drawings on ‘mini cels’ will make an equal contribution to a collective film. By the end of the workshop, children will gain firsthand experience of storyboarding, keyframing, and voice recording. The resulting film will be screened in the Studio at the end, and you will be sent the finished video file and a link to watch it online.
