I think that everyone needs a personalised approach when it comes to learning guitar, so I like to find the aim and goals of each of my students and try to work together in order to achieve them. 

Before starting with a student I do a Karate Kid Style sacred pact:

I promise teach guitar. That’s my part. You promise to learn, and practice at home. That’s your part. Deal?

I am a classically trained guitarist who also loves rock music and the guitar in general, so despite classical guitar being my area of expertise, I know how to improve the musical and technical abilities of acoustic and electric guitarists as well. 

I like to make music with my students so I try to incorporate as much playing together as possible.
