Jonathan Huxley

Jonathan studied at the Royal Academy Schools and taught at the RA for 15 odd years until the pandemic. When we were all released from Lockdown he discovered the great work being done at the Conservatoire. After being invited as a visiting tutor for the last few years, he is delighted to be a regular teacher running drawing and art courses with the fantastic team here.
As a practicing artist he is represented by Crane Kalman Gallery, London, the Gallery that discovered LS Lowry back in the 1950s In Paris he exhibits with Galerie Olivier Waltman. He works regulary with architects on large scale projects and has held a studio in Deptford since the 1990s. He is very happy to be teaching on home ground at what he believes to be one of London's most progressive and inclusive institutions. He looks forward to seeing you at the Conservatoire soon.
