Classes and events for Ukrainian Refugees at the Conservatoire!
We welcome refugee guests to the Blackheath Conservatoire with new classes and events starting this week. The classes are free, and are especially organised for Ukrainians living in the borough, kindly supported by Royal Greenwich.
Music, art and good conversation are a joyful way to escape the pressures of everyday life. If you are a Ukrainian or know of individuals or families living in Greenwich, we would love you to come along to learn new skills and make new friends, or tell others who would benefit. We have Ukrainian speaking tutors, so language is not a problem.
Blackheath Conservatoire Art and Design Class for Ukrainians
Thursdays, 12.30 - 14.30, at Blackheath Conservatoire (Adults, all levels)
Join this brand new art class for Ukrainian adults at the Blackheath Conservatoire. Explore art and design of all kinds, taking inspiration from across the globe. This class is open to Ukrainians aged 18+ Bring your friends and meet new people.

Ukrainian Choir
Sundays, 12.30 - 14.30, at Blackheath Conservatoire (All ages, all levels)
Come along to the Blackheath Conservatoire to take part in this Ukrainian Choir for all ages. Under the guidance of choir leader Tetiana and accompanist Oleksandr, you will sing Ukrainian songs as well as music from other repertoires, guaranteed to lift your spirits.

For the Art Class and Ukrainian choir - how to apply for a place:
1) Visit the Conservatoire in person, enquire by phone or online
2) Give your name, London address, email address, a contact phone number and an emergency contact name and number. If you book a place for your child, we will need their name and date of birth
3) Show the visa stamp in your passport (or a photograph of it), a photo of your Home Office permission to travel to the UK letter, or similar.
Conversation Club - ESOL
Mondays 13.00 - 15.00 (Beginners), 16.30 - 18.30 (Intermediate) - Ongoing Drop- in classes at St Michael’s Church Hall, 1 Pond Road SE3.
Join a Conversation Club to learn English. These friendly drop-in classes with qualified ESOL teachers take place on Mondays at St Michael’s Church Halls, just around the corner from the Conservatoire. Tea and biscuits too!
Social Events
Time to get together and have a party! We have generous funding from Greenwich Council to host some special events for hosts and guests at Arts Cafe, the new café at the Blackheath Conservatoire.

Приходьте до Блекхіс Консерваторії, щоб прийняти участь в українському хорі для всіх вікових категорій. Під управлінням керівниці хору Тетяни та акомпаніатора Олександра ви будете співати українські пісні, а також музику з інших репертуарів, що гарантовано підніме вам дух та настрій.

Час збиратися разом і влаштовувати вечірки! Ми отримали фінансування від Greenwich Council для проведення спеціальних заходів для хостів та українців у новому кафе в Блекхіс Консерваторії. Буде весело
