Orchestras & Choirs (6-18 yrs)

One of the most joyous aspects of music is playing or singing with others. Join our orchestras and choirs to sing with other students your own age, make new friends and learn new things!

Piano

Saturday Sinfonia (7-15 yrs, Grade 1+)

Saturdays 11.00 - 12.00

6th January - 23rd March (11 weeks, £99) Playing a mix of traditional orchestral repertoire and more modern music (recent pieces have included Hedwig’s Theme from Harry Potter and Dvorak’s New World Symphony Theme) the Saturday Sinfonia is a confidence-building group for those developing their playing from Grade 1 onwards. There’s no audition for this group and there is a discount for students who have instrumental lessons at the Conservatoire. In addition to playing, the group do yoga warmups, and learn about tuning, chords and key signatures. Students will improve their aural skills, learn how to play together, understand the role of the conductor and even compose their own pieces for the Symphonia.
