Arts Award Discover Workshop (5-11 yrs)

We are thrilled to have become an Arts Award Centre. Arts Award Discover encourages children and young people to develop an understanding of a range of art forms, to commit to taking part in arts activities, and to begin to develop an understanding of communication. The Discover award is certificated by Trinity College London, and is the first of the Arts Award levels. In this Discover day, you will work with our tutors Sue and Lilly to discover the artist Lubaina Himid and her wonderful work. Young participants will spend the day creating a personal arts log, containing evidence of their learning and experience from the day, and submit this to the Conservatoire to receive their Discover Award.
